Town Board approves engineering study for Lakeport Road sewer district

NY SULLIVAN — Sullivan Town Board approves engineering services for Lakeport Road sewer district. The board unanimously moved forward with Barton and Loguidice Engineering to conduct a preliminary feasibility study backed by a $50,000 Environmental Facilities Corporation grant. Comptroller Eric Tedford explained the phased funding approach: the EFC will release $25,000 upon approval of the engineering firm's detailed scope and fee proposal, with the remaining $25,000 released upon completion of the report.

The board also unanimously approved a $12,200 battery-operated spreader for the Chittenango Fire Department and three firefighter applications.
