Town Board moves forward on $19.3 million sewer project

NY SULLIVAN — Sullivan Town Board authorizes fiscal advisors for sewer project. The board approved $22,000 in services for the Bridgeport Sewer District Extension No. 1, a $19.337 million infrastructure project, and scheduled a June 10 public hearing at Bridgeport Fire Department Station No. 1. Engineer Ken Knutsen told the board the fiscal advisor would secure bonding and administer disbursements from state funding sources.
The project would serve residents in the Bridgeport area with low-pressure sewer collection systems, grinder pumps, and an equalization tank, with estimated costs of $1,848 for typical properties and $3,696 for two-family homes.
