NY SULLIVAN — Sullivan Town Board approves park improvements grant, allocates casino revenue to Chittenango. The board unanimously issued a negative environmental declaration to pursue state funding for a $500,000 municipal park project featuring expanded and fully inclusive playground equipment. Comptroller Eric Tedford rolled out a revised Credit Card Policy authorizing cards for three town positions with strengthened internal controls.
The board allocated $72,000 of the town's expected $468,750 in 2025 host community funding to the Village of Chittenango, helping offset lost tax revenue from a gaming operation. Town Attorney John Langey was directed to draft a billboard moratorium and enhanced sign regulations for consideration at the next meeting.
