NY SULLIVAN — Sullivan Planning Board unanimously approves 24-by-46-foot garage for Edward Atkins. The board, chaired by Dave Allen, granted the special use permit for 8964 Green Road despite Art Lelio of 2708 Waterbury Lane objecting on grounds of lot coverage exceeding 40 percent, character concerns, drainage issues, and potential impact on tenants. Board member John Ceresoli also raised the accumulated trash requiring removal.
The board approved the permit conditioned on regular inspections by Code Enforcement Officer Larry Ball, drainage review and approval, and complete site cleanup with debris placed inside the new garage.
